Starting a business is fun and a great way to build entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills!

 

You will create your own product, develop marketing materials, price your product and set up a pop-up stand right inside a real store and sell to customers.

 

Each Scout will receive The Little Books Of Business “Kidpreneur Kit” which includes:

 

Book “Cat Casey Turns Brownies Into A Business” by Mara Williams

1 money envelope

4 blank business cards

4 stickers

Business Planning Worksheets

Price tags and/or price stickers

1 zippered briefcase bag

 

Spring Session: During troop meetings in March and/or April 2024, you will read the story (read aloud video available) and complete the Business Planning Worksheets. You will decide on a product to make and sell at a live Pop-up Shop event on May 4, 2024 from 10am – 1pm at Artisan Mercantile in Everett.
